On Monday the city of Braggs asked customers in the small Muskogee County community to conserve water. Tuesday it warned that drinking water may now be unsafe for human consumption.
Braggs Town Clerk Rebecca Smith says effective immediately residents need to boil their water before drinking it or using it. The reason is low pressure.
One of the community's four wells is not pumping enough water from an underground aquifer to meet demand from its 416 customers.

Smith says customers need to bring water to a full boil for one minute before using it for food preparation, dishwashing, tooth brushing and bathing infants who may ingest bath water.
The boil order advisory will be in effect until further notice.
Any customers with questions should call Braggs city hall at 918-487-5952.
