After making his MLB debut with the Houston Astros a week earlier, Bishop Kelley graduate Dallas Keuchel picked up his first win Saturday 8-1 over the Cleveland Indians.

The 24-year-old pitcher slung a complete-game for the Houston Astros, giving up just six hits and one earned run – a leadoff homer to Asdrubal Cabrera in the sixth – striking out three. Keuchel was drafted out of Arkansas by the Astros in 2009 and has spent the past three seasons in the minors.

Keuchel pitched 80 innings for the Oklahoma City RedHawks in 2012, amassing an ERA of 4.26 in his work.
