From The KOTV Vault: Stillwater Inventor Of Pente Hits It Big In 1983

It was one of the hottest games of the 1980s, and it was invented by a dishwasher at one of Stillwater's most famous restaurants.

Gary Gabrel was working at Hideaway Pizza when he hit upon the idea for what would become the game of Pente.
