Prison officials said a man who escaped from the John Lilley Correctional Center Tuesday is considered armed and dangerous.
Christopher Canada, 36, was reported missing around 11 a.m., from the prison in Boley.
The Oklahoma Department of Corrections said Canada was listed as a minimum security prisoner with psychosis or schizophrenia.
He was serving time for burglary and possession of a controlled substance convictions. According to the Department of Corrections, he's been in and out of prison since 1999.
Prison officials said Canada is 5'8" and 161 pounds. He has numerous tattoos, including the names "Dorothy" and "Angela" on his neck and "Outlaw" on his left wrist.
