Wagoner County's Most Wanted Arrested

Wagoner County authorities said they arrested the county's most wanted Monday afternoon.

Sheriff Bob Colbert, with the assistance of the Muskogee County Sheriff's Office, apprehended Benny Gene Brooksher in Muskogee, Oklahoma.

Brooksher was wanted for second degree burglary.

The Wagoner County Sheriff's Office has been looking for Brooksher since October 2011.

A judge issued a warrant for Brooksher's arrest on January 3, 2012 after DNA results linked him to a burglary.

Sheriff Colbert said he wanted to thank the public for their many leads and support involved in capturing Brooksher.
