A Green Country teen is the creator of a video that's gone viral. It's also grabbed the attention of Apple fanatics across the world.
The News on 6 met with the 17-year-old Coweta kid who came up with his version of what he thinks the iPhone 5 will look like.
"I'd love to be a director or something similar to that," said Dakota Adney.
Adney is your typical teen. A high school senior with big ambitions; ambitions that can been seen in his YouTube video.
"I really like Apple's advertising techniques and I thought it would be cool to try to make something like they do, like I see on TV," Adney said.
It's an advertisement he made for what he thinks the new iPhone 5 will look like.
"The concept I made is a fully transparent phone with a laser keyboard. I don't know if the iPhone 5 will actually have that, but it would be cool if it did," Adney said.
Adney says after his iPhone 3GS broke he decided to take it apart and play with the idea of what the new 5 could look like.
"It's just the screen to the 3GS. I just kind of took all the other pieces off of it, but the piece of glass on the front," said Adney.
In the three days that the video has been up on YouTube, it's gotten over a half a million hits and has been featured on Huffington Post and Yahoo.
"It's kind of overwhelming. My email's been crazy. I've had a bunch of Facebook friends and Twitter followers now, so it's pretty exciting."
And this isn't the first Apple advertisement the teen has made. Five months ago he made a MacBook Air promo.
"I did a little promotional thing for the MacBook Air. It didn't go viral or anything, but it was fun to make and like I said, I enjoy Apple's advertisements and I just tried to do it again."
Adney hopes his video will be a little inspiration for Apple creators. As always, Apple is keeping quiet about what the new iPhone 5 will look like. It's expected to hit stores later this year.
