Tulsa football fans will be able to catch the Golden Hurricane on television eight times this season, the Conference USA office announced today.
Five of the eight games Tulsa will play on television will be on Fox Sports Network. The other three will be seen on CBS Sports Network.
Five of the games will be at home, with the other three being road games. More games can be added to the television schedule for Tulsa as the season approaches.
Seven games will be conference games, including the home opener on September 8 against Tulane. That game will be seen on FSN.
The lone non conference game on TV will be against Fresno State on September 22. That game will be at home and will be seen on CBS Sports Network.
Conference road games against Marshall on October 6 and Houston on November 10 will also be seen on CBS SN.
"We're excited about the TV schedule released today. The opportunity to be on television eight times is big for our program," said Tulsa Head Coach Bill Blankenship. "With five home games on national television it's important to be able to showcase to the country our city, our university and our football program with tremendous fan support."
Tulsa will play one game at 11 a.m., three afternoon games, and two at 7 p.m. Games against UCF and SMU will have times announced by FSN 12 days before the game.
