The Tulsa Zoo threw a birthday party fit for a chimp Sunday. That's when Bernsen, one of the zoo's youngest chimpanzees, turned 5.
Bernsen celebrated with some treats and had a swinging good time in front of Green Country visitors who turned out for the fun.

The chimpanzee zookeeper gave the crowd an update on Bernsen's development and talked about the birthday boy's development and future with the zoo's chimp troupe.
In 2007, Bernsen became only the second chimp born at the Tulsa Zoo in 16 years. Zookeepers say he's growing up fast.
