Tulsa fire marshals arrested a man for allegedly setting a duplex on fire Tuesday afternoon.

The marshals say 37-year-old Steve Ferguson started the fire around 1:30 p.m. on South Yorktown Avenue.

People inside were able to get out, but a dog chained nearby was hurt because of the fire.

Ferguson was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of first-degree arson, fourth-degree arson/endangering human life and cruelty to animals.

Fire marshals say they don't know what the motive was.
