The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm watch for most of eastern Oklahoma, including Tulsa and surrounding Counties. The watch expires 1 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Another round of showers/storms will be developing late this evening and moving across much of the state during the overnight hours.

Yet another round of showers/storms will be developing later Wednesday and that activity will affect much of the state into Thursday morning before everything finally moves on eastward.

Hail as large as 4.25 inches in Kingfisher was reported by the National Weather Service early Tuesday evening. In Wichita, hail between 1.75 inches and 2.75 inches was also reported.

The main threat from the storms was large hail and damaging winds, with little chance of tornado development.

Between 2 and 3 inches of rain was forecast for central Oklahoma through Thursday.
