A Tulsa County jury reached a verdict after 4 hours of deliberation in the trial of a Broken Arrow mother charged with manslaughter.
Susan Grady was found guilty Friday night of depriving her dying 9-year-old son medical care on religious grounds. The boy passed away from complications from diabetes in 2009.

Grady is a member of the Church of the First Born - where members refuse medicine and rely on divine healing.
Grady showed no emotion as the verdict was read but members of her family and church were visibly upset.
There's some protection under Oklahoma law for parents in these situations, but Grady was charged with manslaughter, instead of child neglect.
Grady's attorney plans to appeal the verdict.
"They did what they thought was right for Aaron," Defense Attorney Rob Nigh said. "I believe under the laws of the state of Oklahoma, what they did is protected."
"We're very happy with the outcome," Prosecutor Benjamin Fu said. "This was a difficult case with a tragic set of facts."
The jury is recommending she spend two and a half years in prison. Sentencing is scheduled for June 8, 2012.
