Tulsa police officers working security at a South Tulsa Braum's Thursday afternoon had to call for help after a large gathering of students started getting out of control.
The crowd of about 200 Jenks Middle School students watched as a woman was arrested in the parking lot.
A police officer at the store in the 2800 block of East 101st Street South spotted a woman speeding through the parking lot with two juvenile girls riding on the outside of her vehicle.
The officer says he stopped the car and was in the process of issuing a ticket when the driver, 35-year-old Brandy Wilkinson, became verbally hostile.
As the officer told Wilkinson he was arresting her, she began to resist.
A group of kids then surrounded the officer and additional officers were called to break up the crowd.
Wilkinson was booked into the Tulsa County Jail on complaints of obstructing officers and resisting arrest.
Police say the Braum's has had previous problems with large groups of students fighting and causing other disturbances after classes let out in Jenks.
