Oklahoma Soldier Dies From Wounds In Afghanistan

The military says 2nd Lieutenant Tobias Alexander, 30, of Lawton died Sunday after enemy forces attacked his unit with an explosive device.

The Department of Defense says two soldiers have died while serving in Afghanistan including one from Oklahoma.

The military says 2nd Lieutenant Tobias Alexander, 30, of Lawton, died Sunday after enemy forces attacked his unit with an explosive device.

Captain Jesse Ozbat, 28, of Prince George, Virginia also died in the attack.

Both soldiers were assigned to the 168th Brigade Support Battalion, 214th Fires Brigade out of Fort Sill.

The attack took place in the Afghanistan community of Tarin Kowt.
