Wendy's Near Utica Square Robbed Saturday Night

Wendy's employees were held at gunpoint Saturday night during an armed robbery near Utica Square and St. John Hospital, Tulsa police said.

Around 11:30 p.m., an employee of the restaurant, located at 1900 E. 21st St., was taking out the trash when two black males wearing masks and gloves slipped in the door behind the employee.

The men forced all of the employees into an office and proceeded to rob the store.

The suspects put the money into a small trash can and fled on foot to the northeast, where it is believed they had a vehicle waiting, police said.
