Tulsa Hit-And-Run Suspect Arrested After Short Pursuit

A hit-and-run suspect was arrested after a short pursuit in downtown Tulsa Wednesday evening.

Tulsa police say 53-year-old Toney Jackson wrecked into another car at 6th and Peoria and then took off.

Police immediately gave chase as the suspect drove his damaged Buick a short distance to 4th and Detroit, where the pursuit ended.

A News On 6 Skycam caught the arrest on camera.

Officers say he smelled of alcohol. He's now facing charges of DUI and running from police.

He was booked into the Tulsa County Jail.
