One of two men arrested in 'Operation Random Shooter' lost his father to murder two years ago, according to his Facebook profile page.
Carl England was shot to death at the Comanche Park Apartments April 5, 2010, in what police believed was a domestic dispute. On Sunday, 19-year-old Jake England was arrested for murders committed on Good Friday, April 6.
Police say England and 32-year-old Alvin Watts are responsible for the shooting deaths of Dannaer Fields, William Allen and Bobby Clark.
England's Facebook page contains the following message next to a picture of Carl England:
R.i.p dad, I cant believe next month will be 2 years I hate it. I miss you so much. I wish yo were here to see all the changes, but nothing would of changed everything happens for a reason! I love & Miss you dad very much your not forgotten. I think about you everyday & Your all around me♥
Pernell Jefferson was arrested in Carl England's death on April 7, 2010. He is currently incarcerated at William S. Key Correctional Center, Fort Supply but on charges of drug and firearm possession.
Jake England's Facebook page includes a photo of his father on a collection jar, with the caption: "In loving memory: Carl England, father shot and killed trying to protect his children and grandchildren."
England's fiance, Sheran Hart Wilde of Tulsa, died on January 10, 2012, according to Johnson Funeral Service. She was also the mother of his child, Jacob Carl England II.
Police arrested England and Watts after a Crime Stoppers tip. The tipster also led authorities to the white pickup that a witness said was used in the crime. It was registered to Carl or Jacob England, according to arrest reports.
England's page adds support to the theory that the victims were targeted because of their race. It contains racial slurs, and at 3:40 p.m. Thursday, the following post:
"Today is two years that my dad has been gone shot by a [expletive deleted]. it's hard not to go off. between that and sheran I'm gone in the head."
On Friday at 10:15 p.m. the following post appears:
"I do believer it just mite be the time to call it quits I I hate to say it like that but I'm done if something does happen tonite be ready for another funeral later."
