One Dead, Another In Serious Condition After Motorcycle Crashes On 21st Street Bridge

One woman is dead and a man is in the hospital in serious condition after they lost control of their motorcycle west of the 21st Street Bridge in Tulsa around 7 p.m. Saturday.

The couple was trying to catch the driver of a white Lincoln Towncar with no tags, after it was involved in a hit-and-run collision, police said.

"The motorcycle was chasing a hit-and-run suspect that had tapped another bike riding in their group after a barbecue at Chandler Park," Tulsa Police Corporal Brandon Disney said.

According to a witness, the motorcycle was going pretty fast when it lost control.

Police say both the man and woman were thrown from the bike.

The woman died at the scene, and the man was rushed to the hospital.
