'Miracle' The Bald Eagle Dies At Foyil Ranch

A bald eagle that was being treated at the Wild Heart Ranch in Foyil died Sunday.

"Miracle" the eagle was deathly ill after eating lead. News On 6 reported on what was hoped to be Miracle's recovery earlier this month.

Veterinarians say the bird had regained its appetite and appeared to be improving but took a turn for the worse and died Sunday night.
