A Claremore woman and former Sapulpa alternative school teacher faces eight counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor following her arrest this week.
Kristy Marone, 40, was charged in Creek County court.
Court records say in November 2011, Marone attempted to convince eight of her students at the Bartlett Academy in Sapulpa to burglarize her ex-husband's Sapulpa home.
She reportedly told the students that she did not care what they did to the house, but if they burglarized her ex-husband's home, she wanted a portion of the money they received for selling his stuff.
When asked by the principal of the Bartlett Academy that same month, Marone reportedly admitted to making the request of her students.
Marone was arrested in Claremore this week and taken to the Creek County jail, where she was released on $20,000 bond.
Her next court date is March 20, 2012 in Sapulpa.
