The investigation continues into what started a fire in a vacant house in North Tulsa early Monday.
Tulsa Fire says the fire started in a home near Apache and Yale at around 1 a.m.
Neighbors originally called 911 reporting a tree on fire, but firefighters found the house fully involved with flames shooting out the windows.
"When our crews got here they noticed the house was heavily involved, so they went into what we call a defensive attack, which is where we attack from the outside for our safety, just due to the involvement that they had," said Tulsa Fire Captain Keith Beck.
Firefighters say the house had been vacant for over a year.
There was a report that fireworks may have played a part in the starting of the fire, but Tulsa Fire officials are not sure and say investigators are still trying to determine the cause.
No one was hurt.
