Tulsa Woman Injured In Late Night Drive-By Shooting

A Tulsa woman was wounded as she jumped off her bed trying to avoid gunshots fired into her house late Wednesday.

Tulsa Police say officers were dispatched to home in the 2700 block of North Vandalia at about 9:45 p.m..

A couple was lying in bed when they heard gunshots.  Both dove to the floor, but the woman was shot in the foot.

Tulsa Police discovered eleven spent 9 mm shell casings in the driveway.

EMSA took the woman to a Tulsa hospital with a wound to her left foot.

No suspects were identified and police are still investigating.
