It appears the project to build an elevated railroad track in Claremore may be dead in its tracks.

Officials said ODOT had secured $30 million in state and federal monies for the project.

In addition, ODOT had applied for a Tiger 3 grant.
Thursday, the U.S. Department of Transportation released its list of projects it would be using TIGER 3 funding for and the Claremore project was not on the list.
Claremore officials said at the meeting on December 1, 2011, more federal monies would be needed if the project was to move forward.
