Woman Accidentally Runs Over Husband In South Tulsa

A man suffered serious injuries after police say his wife accidentally ran him over in the couple's south Tulsa driveway.

It happened in the 1000 block of South Winston Avenue just after 7 p.m. Thursday.

Police say the man sat down in the driveway after completing yard work when he was struck by an SUV driven by his wife.

The wife--returning home from errands--failed to see the husband as she pulled into the unlit driveway.

The man was rushed to a Tulsa hospital where he underwent surgery. At last check he was listed in serious condition.
