A Green Country boy is proving he understands that this is the season of giving.

Seven-year-old Kale Flud won an Xbox gaming system for his part in a jog-a-thon at his elementary school in Adair.

Since he already had systems at his parents and grandmother's homes, he decided to give it to the William Barnes Child Advocacy Center in Claremore.

"The kids really need one. I think if they're sad, I really want them to be happy," Kale Flud said.

The center is a site for forensic interviews and medical and mental health evaluations for children who might be victims of abuse and neglect.
