One Person Dead In Sand Springs Home Fire Sunday Morning

One person is dead following a house fire in a Sand Springs neighborhood Sunday morning.

A neighbor in the 4800 block of South Bermuda Circle called the fire department around 7 a.m. 

Crews found one person dead shortly after searching the structure. It's unclear if the victim was the homeowner.

Crews say the damage to the home was significant. Thick smoke and flames were seen shooting from the roof.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
