Weather Worries Postpone Claremore Christmas Parade

The Claremore Christmas parade has been rescheduled. Organizer Dell Davis says the parade will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, December 8th.

Davis said the switch was made due to the weather forecast and concerns for parade participants and spectators on Saturday.

Temperatures will turn sharply colder Saturday evening and will set the stage for a cold Sunday through Wednesday period, according to News On 6 WARN Team meteorologist Alan Crone. There is also a 90 percent chance of rain Saturday.
