Move over Bedlam! Thursday is game day for high schoolers competing for the coveted 6-A state championship. Broken Arrow and Union will be fighting for the title in Stillwater.
Union is the powerhouse - the school's hoping for its fourth state title in a row tonight. Broken Arrow has never won the state championship but students say don't call them the underdog.
Union's marching to a familiar beat.
"The atmosphere all day has just been amazing," said Lorrie Davis, Union senior.
The Redskins say they've got the rivals where they want them. Plus, they have the stats to back up that smack talk.
"We have four-peat on the sleeve. On the back, it has the past three years plus this year," said Kaylyn Stauder, Union senior.
But in Broken Arrow, students think Union's celebrating too early.
"We just have a really good chance this year," said Stephen Cannon, Broken Arrow senior.
Earlier in the season, BA lost to Union by just one touchdown. And the Tigers want a rematch.
"They're going to finish what they started. They're going to take it," said Bryce Haddaway, Broken Arrow Senior.
May the best team win, and the best fans scream the loudest.
The game kicks off at 7:30 in Stillwater. We'll show you the highlights and reveal the winner during our sports segment tonight at 10.
