A reward is now being offered for the arrest of the suspects who shot a 73-year-old veteran in the head and left him for dead in Wagoner County.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the suspects' arrest. Kenneth Payne was robbed and wounded as he left a gun range Thanksgiving day.

Payne was shot several times and has undergone more than one surgery.

Payne told his family that two men shot him. They got away with a Cabela's gun caddy and four weapons – including a rare Mitchell Black Lightning .22 magnum rifle.

Agents are hopeful that someone will recognize the unusual gun.

Anyone with information in this case is asked to contact the OSBI at 1-800-522-8017.
