Last Family To Be Recruited By OSU Coaches Speaks

The Branstetters' plane that was carrying two OSU coaches went down in the Winona Wildlife Management Area in Arkansas, which is about 45 miles from Little Rock.

Coach Budke and Coach Serna were on a recruiting trip to scout three high school players. One of those players was high school junior Tyler Scaife.

Tyler says the tragedy is still sinking in days after the crash. Her dad says he can't help but think, "What if?"

"I sort of feel really bad, thinking it could be our fault and myself, but I know that it's not," said Tracy Scaife, recruit's father. "We just love Miranda and Coach Budke to death, we really do."

A rosary service honoring Coach Serna will be held Tuesday morning at Saint Francis Xavier Church in Stillwater.

Another service remembering Olin and Paula Brandstetter is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon at the First Assembly of God Church in Ponca City.
