Fire investigators are trying to determine what caused a building fire in Sperry late Thursday night.
Sperry Fire got the first call about the fire in the 200 block of West Ash just after 6:30 p.m.
Firefighters were on the scene until midnight.
Shortly before 1 a.m. Friday, the fire apparently rekindled and Sperry Fire was dispatched to the scene again.
This time, the fire destroyed what was left after the first fire. The abandoned building use to be a church and a daycare center.
Sperry Fire says several firefighters suffered some minor injuries fighting the two fires, but they are expected to be okay.
