Crash On Tulsa's I-244 Backs Up Traffic Tuesday Morning

A car, a pickup truck and a van were involved in a crash on I-244 Tuesday morning that backed up eastbound traffic for about five miles.

The crash happened between Mingo and U.S. Highway 169 closing the two inside lanes.  The OHP says the crash also damaged the highway's guardrail.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the van rolled onto its side.

A person in the van was transported by EMSA to a Tulsa hospital.

The crash also backed up traffic in the westbound lanes as drivers slowed down to look at the scene.
