One man is seriously injured following a motorcycle crash in a north Tulsa neighborhood Monday.
Tulsa Police say the man was traveling at a high rate of speed when he crashed his motorcycle in the 1900 block of North Columbia.
Police say the victim may have hit his head on a drainage pipe of mailbox after sliding 130 feet from the bike.
Witnesses told police a man in a truck pulled up and took the bike after the crash, leaving the injured motorcyclist in the street. Police don't know why the bike was removed or by whom.
Witnesses say the victim was often seen riding up and down the residential street on a motorcycle, but never at a high rate of speed.
The victim's identity has not been released.
