Jenks Native Finishes Third In World Series Of Poker Event In Vegas

UPDATE: Ben Lamb from Jenks was the only American in Tuesday night's World Series of Poker finals in Las Vegas.  Lamb defeated nearly 7,000 people to face competitors from Germany and the Czech Republic.  Lamb left in third place with a huge payday, winning more than $4-million. A 22-year-old German poker player won the World Series of Poker cashing out with over $8.5-million.

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Imagine being a 26-year-old millionaire. A Green Country native will have that title by Tuesday night.

Ben Lamb from Jenks is in the World Series of Poker finals Tuesday in Las Vegas. If Lamb wins it all, he'll walk away with more than $8.5 million.

Third prize is a mere $4 million. Lamb is up against players from the Czech Republic and Germany.
