Tulsa police say a 48-year-old man was shot and killed between 3 and 4 a.m. Sunday. His body was discovered in a ditch later that morning.

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa Police are investigating the city's 44th homicide of 2011.

Homicide Sergeant Dave Walker said the body of a man identified as 48-year-old Eric Fuller was found in a ditch in the 3100 block of East Virgin Street.

Fuller had been shot. Tulsa Police believe the homicide took place between 3 to 4 a.m. Sunday morning. His body was discovered at about 8:25 a.m.

"The Homicide unit is working on leads, and there is nothing to report on motive, suspects or persons of interest at this time," Walker said.
