BARTLESVILLE, Oklahoma -- No one was injured when a piece of scaffolding fell 19 stories in Bartlesville Wednesday morning, crashing through the front windshield and landing in the passenger seat of a pickup truck.

Bartlesville Police Chief Tom Holland says the aluminum beam fell from the Phillips Building at 4th and Keeler Avenue.

Police closed Keeler while crews cleaned up debris from the incident.

Holland says the 19-story building which houses ConocoPhillips offices is undergoing some remodeling work and the beam probably was associated with that work.
