BARTLESVILLE, Oklahoma -- Olympic athletes know they've made it when they make the cover of a Wheaties box. But two Bartlesville boys are absolutely thrilled to be on the label of their favorite soda pop bottle.
A fun photo of Celina Lindsly's boys is now a hit in Bartlesville.
"I thought it was kind of unique. It was funny and silly," Lindsly said.
The birthday picture, taken two years ago, captures a candid moment with some goofy glasses.
"When we came home, my mom said we should put them on and take a picture, but they wouldn't stay on so we had to hold them," Tommy said.
Now walk into a store, and you may just find their picture on a Jones Berry Lemonade soda pop bottle.
"I thought it was pretty cool because we could go around and just find them everywhere," Tommy said,
Lindsly submitted the picture to the soda company.
"In April I got another e-mail that said congratulations you are going to be on a label!" Lindsly said.
Jones Soda plasters a variety of photos on its thirst quenchers. From pets to sports, and two lucky brothers.
"When she said that, we got really super excited and it was really awesome," Tommy said.
"I thought it was like really awesome and it was just really cool," Luke said.
Finding the bright blue bottles has turned into a treasure hunt.
"Oh it was so exciting. We had looked all summer long through Branson and Texas and couldn't find it anywhere. And the fact that it was just right around the corner was unbelievable," Lindsly said.
The family is buying up the limited edition bottles.
"It kinda tastes like a berry kind or flavor and kind of candyish and it makes it really good," Luke said.
The boys say their friends think the picture on the soda pop bottle is "cool." But they say their little sister is jealous and asked mom to send in her picture.
