BROKEN ARROW, Oklahoma -- Green Country voters went to the polls Tuesday. Three communities -- Owasso, Broken Arrow and Jenks -- were asking voters to approve bond issues to improve schools, roads and fire service.
Three multi-million dollar bond issues were defeated Tuesday in Owasso.
Prop 1 - Improvement to sports facilities.

Opponents had been campaigning heavily against the bonds that would pay for road widening, park improvements, an aquatics center, and soccer and baseball facilities.
In Jenks, voters decided improvements to the fire and police departments were not worth an increase in property taxes.

Broken Arrow voters approved a ballot question asking permission to reallocate $73.5 million from a 2009 bond issue.
