Pets, Owners Can 'Howl At The Moon' With Tulsa SPCA

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Pet lovers can Howl at the Moon with the Tulsa SPCA October 14th and 15th. The event benefits homeless animals and the SPCA.

From 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, the organization will offer special adoption rates, educational booths, low cost medical care and grooming. Bring your pets to take advantage of the clinics, or find a new friend to take home at a reduced cost.

It's a family event with doggie pageants at 11 a.m., 1 and 3 p.m. both days. There will be face painting, a bouncy castle, raffles and prizes, and a costume contest.

There's also a special K9 demonstration from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday. The Tulsa SPCA is located at 2910 Mohawk Boulevard. Get directions.
