Grove Man Killed In 3-Vehicle Crash Near Fairland

FAIRLAND, Oklahoma -- A 24-year-old Grove man was killed in a three vehicle crash Friday afternoon.

Troopers say Bryan Richardson overturned his truck trying to avoid a collision on Highway 125 near Fairland.

Richardson was behind two other northbound vehicles on the two-lane highway when he tried to pass, but had to swerve off the highway to avoid a collision with the middle vehicle.

Troopers say Richardson re-entered the highway, struck the middle car and overturned his vehicle. The truck came to rest on the drivers side after hitting a fence.

Troopers say the unbuckled victim died at the scene from massive injuries.
