SAND SPRINGS, Oklahoma -- John Deere's chairman and chief executive officer is in Oklahoma Wednesday. Sam Allen honored some employees at a Sand Springs John Deere dealership.
Twenty workers at Yellowhouse Manufacturing Company were recognized for at least 10 years of service.
One employee has been with them for 35 years.
Workers say our state is what has made their company successful for so many years.
"We're very focused on the infrastructure of Oklahoma," said Sales Manager Curtis Christiansen. "We also work in the industry of energy for fuel as well as food. We're just very blessed to have an energy market in Oklahoma that keeps us thriving."
Yellowhouse Machinery is the oldest John Deere dealership west of the Mississippi.
