BARTLESVILLE, Oklahoma -- The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is reviewing a case against four Bartlesville officers accused of official misconduct.

The Bartlesville Police Chief requested the agency investigate the allegations Thursday, according to the OSBI.

News On 6 contacted the Bartlesville Police Department and the OSBI for more information, but neither agency has released further details.

It's not known if the officers remain on duty, but it is customary for officers to be placed on leave in this situation.

OSBI agents will release a prosecution report to the district attorney's office once the investigation is completed.
