Ottawa County Man Charged With Possessing Child Pornography Found Dead

MIAMI, Oklahoma -- A 63-year-old Miami man charged back in January with one count of possession of child pornography has been found dead.

James Weaver was charged after agents with the Southwest Missouri Cyber Crimes Task Force traced downloaded child porn videos to a computer account held by Weaver.

The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office was notified Monday afternoon but has declined further comment on the case other than to say Weaver's body was sent to the state Medical Examiner's office in Tulsa for an autopsy.

Weaver was scheduled for a an October 3, 2011 court appearance on the charge.
