TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa Police are looking for a man who they say attempted to abduct children on two separate occasions.

Police say the suspect's first attempt was on the evening of July 26, 2011. Police say the suspect tried to lure a 14-year-old girl into his car in the area of 8900 E. 8th Street, but the victim took off.

The suspect tried a second time about a month later in the area of 7300 E. 27th Street. This time he targeted a 12-year-old girl walking down the street. She too was able to get away.

Both victims describe the suspect as a Hispanic male, around 6-foot tall and 230 pounds. The suspect has a mustache and long black hair slicked back in a ponytail or braid.

The suspect drove a black Honda Civic or Accord in the first incident but was in a red truck in the second attempted abduction. The truck was described as a low-rider and the windows were slightly tinted.

Anyone with information about this suspect or the vehicles can call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
