Tulsa Public School Student Found With Knife On School Bus

TULSA, Oklahoma -- A Tulsa Public School bus driver took away a knife from a student on his bus Thursday afternoon.

Tulsa Public Schools spokesman Chris Payne says the student from Cooper Elementary was headed home at the time. He says another student on the bus noticed the four to five inch blade and told the bus driver.

Payne says the bus driver got control of the knife. He says the student didn't appear to be threatening anyone on the bus with the knife.

Payne says the student is most likely going to be suspended.
