JENKS, Oklahoma -- Jenks is changing one of its bus stops after parents said it was just too dangerous.
Some parents think having kids get on and off the bus at a busy intersection like 101st and Delaware is just asking for trouble.
They say cars are going too fast and drivers aren't paying enough attention. One parent says his son had a close call at that very bus stop.
"He didn't see the car in front of the bus. I mean my heart went to my throat. I mean it really did. And, I yelled very loudly and he stopped, thank God," said Jenks parent John Evans.
Jenks says it is going to change the bus stop at the 101st and Delaware intersection.
The district says parents will be told at least three days before the change is made. It's also reviewing all the other bus stops to make sure they're safe as well.
