TULSA, Oklahoma -- Oklahoma's largest natural gas utility is offering a $30 cash rebate.
Oklahoma Natural Gas [ONG] announced Thursday, a new energy-efficiency program that will provide substantial cash rebates to customers who choose to upgrade to new, more efficient natural gas appliances.
"We are serious about encouraging our customers to be more energy efficient," said Oklahoma Natural Gas Company President Greg Phillips. "We believe that natural gas is the best, most efficient and environmentally responsible energy choice for heating your home, heating the water you use and drying your clothes. We're excited about this new program that will help our customers make smart appliance choices, allowing them to save money on their utility bills for years to come."

ONG is also planning to make $250,000 available to social service agencies to help low-income Oklahoma families be more energy efficient.
