Chris Wehner pulls out all the stops to make his photographs different.
‘You know, the real world can be real dull, especially through a camera,' said Chris, ‘I do a lot of post-processing to it because I like to make those pictures become something that's more in my mind's eye, or maybe the way we'd like to remember it.'
Chris was driving past Tulsa's Memorial Park Cemetery when he was struck by the look of the clouds above its stone gate. He entered his picture called ‘Yea, Though I Walk' in Canon's Project Imagin8ion photography contest on YouTube and was happy when it was accepted. He was even happier when he saw Ron Howard announcing his name on the YouTube contest web site:
‘I the Canon Project Imagin8ion Obstacle category, I want to congratulate Chris Wehner. Chris is from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.'
Howard picked Chris's photograph to be one of 8 photos he will weave into a film he is directing for the project.
