MANNFORD, Oklahoma -- No one was injured when a pickup truck collided with a loaded Mannford School bus in Pawnee County Tuesday morning.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the crash happened just after 7:30 a.m. on a county road west of state Highway 48.
The OHP says the pickup truck, driven by 16-year-old Dakota Dearman of Terlton, was eastbound on the county road and struck the bus while it was stopped picking up students.
According to the OHP report, Dearman said he didn't see the school bus because of the angle of the sun at the time of the crash.
Troopers cited Dearman for unsafe speed at the time of the crash.
There were 19 students on the bus at the time of the crash.
