Turley Fire Department Holds Fundraiser To Replace Damaged Equipment

TURLEY, Oklahoma -- You have a chance to help some Green Country firefighters. The Turley fire department is hosting a fundraiser luncheon and bake sale Saturday.

The money raised will help pay to fix the main-line pumper truck which was damaged battling that big grass fire that broke out a month ago.

The fire will end up costing the volunteer fire department nearly $5,000. A $5 donation gets you a lunch plate of beans, potatoes, and cornbread.

Kids under 12 with an adult eat free. Just head to the Turley fire station Saturday from noon to 5 p.m.
