TULSA, Oklahoma -- Frankfurters, Franks, and Weenies... no matter, a Wiener by any other name is still a hot dog. They're showing up on menus all over and have become kind of trendy.
There are so many options, a hot dog with mustard or ketchup may be traditional, but it's kind of boring.
The Dog House is downtown Tulsa's crazy hot dog headquarters.
"We do plain hot dogs, but we kind of do a lot of crazy stuff...cream cheese on hot dogs....bacon and barbeque sauce...peanut butter on hot dogs...we put lots of stuff on hot dogs," said Josh Lynch
Lynch started his hot dog business with one cart about five years ago. People kept asking where his place was, now he has one.
Inside, the lunch rush had already started and Jerry Day and some co-workers were working through the menu.
Jerry says he likes to get two -- one he's not tried and an old standby.
"Went with the Yoda today and the Ragin Cajun," he said.
Yoda is boudin sausage with some crazy toppings. The Ragin Cajun is andouille sausage and some other crazy stuff.
The Dog House is open six days a week.
